Venue: Airsoft Combat Re-Enactment - Search and recovery operations. Direction Finding equipment will be used for tracking and recovery.  Multiple objective scenerio will have real time Command and Control.  Be advised the anti-personnel mines are operational and will be used in this scenerio.

Deployment Orders: US Special Forces Recue and Recovery Group Omega 5

Classification: TOP SECRET

Commander: At 0400 hours this morning, CIMCOM received an emergency distress call from a base operating within the Kazikstan border.  Operations have been compromised, we have reason to believe that a small contingent of US Forces escaped the base.  Attempts at radio communications have failed.

Tactical Insertion:
Your team will be inserted via helo at the closest LZ possible, to be determined upon deployment.  Locate the base and secure, eliminate any Kazak Security Forces.  Inside the base should be a special communication device, believed to be secure at this point.  Once you have located the radio, contact any surviving forces, rendezvous and extract at LZ Tango 2.  If a contingent escaped, they will have an top secret item with them.  It is a matter of National Security that the item is returned.

This is a Top Secret Classified Mission.   Team selection is at your discretion, we will have all operatives available for your usage.

Operation Red Sparrow

This Operation will involve two teams, with multiple objectives.

Briefing will be in-group for safety and protocol.  Scenario specific objectives will be given to each unit's commander, not broadcasted publicly.  The intention is to create a situation requiring units to adapt and overcome

Background:

An unidentified agency of the US has been running a secret base in a remote area of Kazakhstan.  At 0500 hours, the base was attacked, with a small contingent of men having escaped from the Opposing Force.  We do not have radio contact with the men at this time.  We received an encrypted message indicating that the base was being evacuated.

US Forces:

The US has deployed a Rescue and Recovery team of Special Forces, which will be inserted at 0900.  We have the coordinated of the base, and are assuming it is heavily guarded.  The team must occupy the base to locate a special communication device to contact the remaining survivors of the base.  Once communication is established, the Special Forces team will rendezvous with the survivors, and extract at one of 3 established LZ's

Opposing Force:

A group of Kazak Security Forces operating in Kazakhstan had discovered the base within their borders.  The attack yielded the Kazak Security Forces occupation of the base now.  We believe that a contingent of men escaped the base with a device that must be recovered.  A team of Kazak Secuity Force will defend the base, while another will pursue the escaped Americans to recover the item.

US Forces Details:

The US force will be split into two, and start at two opposite sides of the established combat field (see included ppt file).  The "inserted" Special Forces Rescue and Recovery team (A-1) will have to locate the base, eliminate all opposing forces, locate a radio inside the base, and establish communications with the commander of the Base Survivors (A-2).  (A-2) will know the location of the LZ, but will have to move slowly to it.  This team will start the furthest distance from the LZ.  Once (A-1) has contacted (A-2), they will link up and proceed to the LZ for extraction as one unit.  At the LZ, they must hold that position for 20 minutes for successful completion of the Scenario.

Opposing Force Details:

The Kazak Security Forces will have to accomplish two things.  First, the base will have to be successfully defended, never allowing the US forces to overtake the base.  Second, a small force will need to be sent out to eliminate/prevent the escaped US forces from leaving the country, and return the stolen object from the base, believed to be a disk drive.  The Kazak Security Team team must prevent the US forces from taking over the base/escaping, and retrieve the removed disk drive.
