Operation completed: 15 March 2003
| Friday bivouac: It was cold
and wet, but the St. Paddy's Memorial Guinness and Corn Beef supper at the
AO warmed us enough to survive. The firewood was rapidly consumed by 11:00pm
and all troops quickly hit warmth and relative dryness of their fart sack
there after. |

| MISSION: The mission was executed successfully. No significant
casualties recorded. The RDF equipment was operational and added several
new elements to the engagement. Weather conditions were challenging in the
morning hours, with heavy rain showers and significant hail at 1300hrs.
SHADOW unit successfully countered EUROPA team in both morning and afternoon
engagements with a dramatic extraction from LZ BRAVO. |
Original Warning orders -
This operation will be a theatrical re-enactment of engagements between
elements of the US Shadow/NSA unit and EUROPA Spec-Ops group in their
continuing struggle to locate and recover vital intel satellite sources
re-entered in the Canadian north.
Recent improvements in RDF equipment have given Europa a good probability
for recovery and they have been tasked by the EU with this mission. US
Shadow group is never far behind.
Join us for a day of forest combat in the Sierra foothills. The Zip
line will be deployed again. So check you harness and make any necessary
repairs...you'll be flying!
